MEMBERSHIP AND ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE ASSOCIATION

  • Membership in the Association shall be voluntary. Any physician or other specialist who is involved in rheumatic diseases and recognizes and fulfills the provisions of these Bylaws may be a member of the Association

  • Members shall be admitted on the basis of a written application addressed to the Board of Directors (BOD) of the Association and shall be considered members from the date of approval of the submitted application, of which they shall receive notification from the BOD.

    The application shall expressly state that the willing applicant knows and accepts the terms of these Bylaws. Upon admission into the Association, each member            shall pay dues on a monthly basis in an amount determined by a resolution of the Board of Directors for each year.

  • Membership in the Association may be terminated in the following cases:

  • On a request on behalf of the member, as of the date of its submission to the Board of Directors of the ASSOCIATION.

  • Upon a failure to pay the membership fee for a period exceeding 6 months without a valid reason.

  • By decision of the Board of Directors in cases of serious violations of the provisions of these Bylaws or the Rules of Good Medical Practice.

    The Management shall have the following powers:

  • Lead, organize and coordinate the work of the association.

  • Establish links with national and foreign scientific organizations.

Organize the development of national programs and strategies for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of rheumatic diseases and directly participate in its implementation, interacting with the relevant government institutions.

Dismissal of a member of the Board of Directors shall take place:

  •  at his her request by written notice addressed to the Chairperson of the Board or the Regional College. 

  • when objectively unable to perform his/her duties 

upon proposal of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors by the General Meeting in the event of systematic failure to perform his duties.

PRESIDENCY  OF THE  ASSOCIATION

The Association shall be represented by the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

 TERM OF EXISTENCE OF THE ASSOCIATION

   Each member of the Association shall have the right

  •  To participate in its activities.

  • ​ To elect and to be elected to the bodies of the Company.

  • To receive assistance and support in pursuing his/her creative and professional interests.

  •  When possible, be supported to participate in scientific events on the matters of rheumatic diseases.  

   Each member of the Association shall:

  • Work for the accomplishment of the aims and objectives of the Society.

  • Improve his/her professional qualification and contribute to the promotion of new developments in global medical science in the field of rheumatic diseases.

  • Pay a membership fee determined by the Board of the Association.

PROPERTY AND FUNDS OF THE ASSOCIATION

The funds of the Association shall be raised by membership fees, donations, and proceeds from the organization of scientific events. The Association shall not engage in economic activity.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THEMEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION

The ASSOCIATION shall be established without term.
